Christopher Johnson currently serves as Assistant General Counsel at Rotary International, where he supervises the organization's Licensing function and works to protect Rotary's intellectual property globally. His practice includes drafting and reviewing inbound and outbound asset licenses, work-for-hire agreements, and contracts related to intellectual property, communications, sponsorships, and partnerships.

Before joining Rotary, he was Director of Legal Services at Lawyers for the Creative Arts and taught Entertainment Law at Flashpoint Chicago, a campus of Columbia College Hollywood. Outside of Rotary, he is an avid musical theater performer, a member of the Lawyers for the Creative Arts Associate Board, and lectures on intellectual property topics at colleges, law schools, and conferences across Chicago.
